Cirrhosis is a serious medical condition which is used to refer to a group of chronic diseases in the liver due to which the normal liver cells are damaged and simultaneously the amount of normal liver tissue decreases in quantity to be replaced by scar tissues. The symptoms through which this disorder is manifested are known as cirrhosis symptoms and although they may be very few at first, their presence increases with the increasing severity of the disease.

As the condition progresses, it can cause yellowish discoloration of the skin, muscle cramps, confusion or mental problems, and difficulty in absorbing alcohol and drugs.
